Double displacement reaction between sodium sulphate and barium chloride.
Displacement reaction by an iron nail in a copper sulphate solution.
Double Displacement Reaction example
A. Silver nitrate reaction sodium chloride
AgNO3(aq) + NaCl(aq) ——> AgCl(s) + NaNO3(aq)
Copper sulphate crystal is blue in colour. So it is also called “Blue Vitriol” (Hindi: नीला थोथा). It is used in refining industries and agriculture. When it is dissolved in water it forms blue solution.
Iron metal reacts with copper sulphate and displaces copper.
